I actually think I might avoid buying clothes so I can go crazy buying every single item.

A WEEKEND OF FAME.

I am super lazy and poor so when I realised I had two parties on the same weekend with the same theme I decided I would just get one costume and wear it to both. The theme was 'Movie Characters'. The first party was on Saturday evening in celebration of my cousin Lauren's eighteenth. The second was my work Christmas party on Sunday night. Both celebrations had food so fabulous that I failed to get any photos of.

I spent the weekend as Princess Jasmine from Aladdin :) Aladdin was one of the first films I ever saw at the cinemas. My school bag in kindergarten was a big purple Aladdin backpack. I had a heap of Aladdin toys and dressed up as Princess Jasmine when I was five or so. Unfortunately I have no photos of that costume however I imagine it consisted of parachute pants and a bikini top (y) Definite win! Anyway, basically this was a pretty significant costume for me :):):)

It was a great weekend but I'm quite exhausted...

Imaginary SHINY party.

So last Friday after work I went around to Adam's to pick him up. We came back to mine so I could get ready to head into town. Whilst I was 'getting ready' - I mostly whinged, yelled and ate - Adam made me a beautiful hooded scarf. Halfway through he suddenly says to me (note the specific wording may be incorrect) "You know what I'm still lusting over? That gold jacket you got in Tasmania." I then spent ages hunting for it. Of course it was in the first place I looked I'd just failed to sort through the clothes... Anyway! Eventually we left the house looking amazing. Adam in the gold jacket and I in my newly sewn blue shiny hooded scarf/bolero thing. We picked Niki and Kel up from Eastlakes where Kelly's work Christmas party had been held that evening and the four of us headed into the city...

I'm obviously paying attention to the road....

I still cannot believe what a great night I had. I WAS THE DRIVER!!! Win for sure.
