OKTOBERFEST :)

So I'm lazy. I had the urge to publish a post with photos from Oktoberfest at ANU last Thursday. But I couldn't be bothered uploading, so this is all I've got ha!

Oh 2009, you have been full of twenty-firsts.

As a result of an inability to sleep which appears to have been caused by my failure to get a prescription filled, and the consequent failure to take said medication, I have decided to publish a belated post featuring the lovely Jen's 21st birthday party :) It was a fabulous night, despite the terrible weather (rain, harsh wind, stupid zero degree "spring" temperatures). We drank plenty of punch, my thrown together cocktails and ate fantastic cake. Everyone looked gorgeous even my recently injured mother, although she was looking a little grandmaish thanks to a horribly bruised arm and unflattering sling, which together forced her to cover up with a shawl. I changed my shoes halfway through the evening as I had forgotten about putting gel soles in the first pair until it was time to leave - we were running over half an hour late and my nails were still wet hahaha. Adam and I ventured into town, chauffeured by the always-stylish Jacqui, but were ready to leave by 1am. Thanks to Jenny's (Mother, not the birthday girl) credit card we got a cab home - after purchasing tacos (of course) - and got into lovely warm beds. Anyway I'm not sure what I have actually written... chances are I'll end up editing it. But here are some snaps...
